VNH’s subsidiaries, VNH South and VNH North, have ordered three Airbus H225 helicopters to expand offshore energy operations and phase out aging aircraft. This latest order reflects a 40-year partnership with Airbus Helicopters. “The H225 has proven itself time and again across our offshore missions,” said VNH CEO Kieu Dang Hung, citing reliability, performance, and safety as the helicopter becomes the backbone of their future fleet, enabling modernization and greater flexibility. Airbus Helicopters CEO Matthieu Louvot remarked that VNH’s decision underscores the H225’s exceptional reliability in demanding offshore environments, with Airbus honored to support VNH’s growth. The new H225s will join existing Super Puma and H155 helicopters for offshore energy transport, utility missions, search and rescue, and broader transport. The H225 offers high performance in challenging conditions, outstanding range, payload, state-of-the-art avionics, and autopilot systems that enhance safety and reduce pilot workload. Over 360 H225s and H225Ms have flown more than one million hours globally, serving military customers such as Brazil, France, Hungary, Indonesia, Iraq, Kuwait, Malaysia, Mexico, the Netherlands, Singapore, and Thailand.
