by Editorial Staff

Rocket Lab Corporation added to its launch tally on March 21st, completing its 84th Electron mission and its eighth for Synspective. The “Eight Days A Week” mission launched from New Zealand at 07:10 am, deploying a StriX synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite to a precise 573km low-Earth orbit.

The mission highlighted Rocket Lab’s engineering flexibility, featuring a custom payload fairing developed specifically to accommodate Synspective’s satellite requirements. The SAR satellite will support global remote monitoring services for both government and commercial entities.

With this flight, Rocket Lab maintains a flawless 100% success rate across all missions for Synspective. The partnership’s scope was recently expanded to include 19 additional dedicated launches, totaling 27 missions intended to complete Synspective’s constellation by 2028. Rocket Lab’s Electron continues to distinguish itself as the preferred launch vehicle for constellation operators, valued for its meter-level deployment accuracy, consistent reliability, and rapid launch cadence.
