QuikTrip Acquires Third Bell 429 for Company Operations.

by Editorial Staff

Bell Textron Inc. announced today at the VAI Verticon 2026 conference that long-time customer QuikTrip Corporation has signed an agreement to purchase a third Bell 429 helicopter. The deal reinforces a partnership built on trust and the shared goal of efficient corporate mobility.

The new aircraft will be dedicated to corporate transport, expanding a QuikTrip fleet that has consistently relied on Bell’s rotorcraft technology, including two existing 429s and a 407GXi. This move reflects a strategic decision by the company to ensure its leadership team has access to the most reliable and comfortable transportation available.

Stuart Sullivan, vice president and chief financial officer for QuikTrip, highlighted the depth of the relationship. “Bell continues to be a valued and trusted partner for QuikTrip,” Sullivan said. “The Bell 429 provides the precise mix of performance, comfort, and safety required by our company. It is instrumental in supporting our day-to-day operations and our continuing expansion plans.”

The Bell 429 is widely regarded as a leader in the light-twin segment, particularly for its passenger experience. The aircraft features a flat-floor cabin that allows for easy movement and customization, accommodating up to six passengers in a serene environment. It effectively bridges the gap between point-to-point speed and in-flight luxury.

Lane Evans, managing director, North America sales for Bell, expressed enthusiasm for the continued collaboration. “Having a customer like QuikTrip come back for a third 429 is the highest form of flattery,” Evans remarked. “The 429 has proven to be the right solution to support their business needs, and we are excited to be a part of their growth story.”

Operationally, the helicopter is equipped with Bell’s advanced BasixPro software, which features a precise guidance system that streamlines the pilot’s workload. By automating essential in-flight calculations and displaying critical data prominently, the technology enhances safety and allows for smoother, more efficient missions.

With this third Bell 429, QuikTrip is not just buying a helicopter; it is investing in a tool that enhances its corporate agility, ensuring its team can be where they need to be, when they need to be there.
