De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited (De Havilland Canada) announced today that it has signed a Purchase Agreement with Asman Airlines for a refurbished Dash 8-400 aircraft. The deal will bring the airline’s total fleet of the type to four.
Slated for delivery later this year, the aircraft will be utilized to support Asman Airlines’ ongoing network expansion. The operator is leveraging the Dash 8-400’s proven performance characteristics—namely its fuel efficiency, speed, and ability to operate in varied environments—to strengthen its regional service offerings.
Ryan DeBrusk, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at De Havilland Canada, commented on the sale. “We are pleased to continue our work with Asman Airlines. This repeat order reflects the value the Dash 8-400 brings to regional operators. We look forward to delivering this aircraft, which will be refurbished to meet their specific requirements, and supporting their efforts to provide efficient and reliable connectivity.”
The refurbished aircraft will be prepared to De Havilland Canada’s high standards, ensuring it delivers the performance, passenger comfort, and reliability synonymous with the Dash 8 series. It will join the Asman Airlines fleet to support the company’s strategic growth plans.
