Dassault launches Falcon 10X, a luxurious new flagship aircraft.

More than 400 customers and aviation leaders gathered in a new production hall at Bordeaux-Mérignac to witness Dassault Aviation unveil its new flagship, the Falcon 10X. Dassault President & CEO Eric Trappier framed the aircraft as a visionary response to what passengers truly value: an objectively better experience that eliminates the friction of long-distance travel.

The Falcon 10X is engineered to transform ultra-long-range flights, capable of connecting city pairs like New York to Shanghai or Los Angeles to Sydney. However, its primary innovation lies in the user experience. Trappier’s vision is to make time onboard feel like an extension of one’s daily life, not an interruption. This philosophy drove the creation of a cabin that is eight inches wider and two inches taller than its nearest competitor, allowing for living-space configurations rather than traditional aircraft interiors.

This commitment to comfort does not come at the expense of operational flexibility. By applying expertise from its military programs, Dassault has created an aircraft that combines a spacious, luxurious interior with the efficient, high-performance characteristics that define the Falcon brand. With the unveiling complete, the program now advances toward flight testing, positioning the 10X to become the new benchmark in the top tier of business aviation.
