DroneShield Ltd has secured a significant new wave of business, announcing a package of six separate contracts valued at a combined $21.7 million. The orders, placed by a long-standing in-country reseller, will supply advanced counter-drone technology to a Western military end-user.
The contracts encompass the delivery of dismounted counter-drone systems, spare kits, and ongoing software subscriptions. Dismounted systems are typically portable, soldier-worn devices designed to detect and mitigate unmanned aerial threats in field operations, offering protection for troops on the move.
A key advantage of this deal is the speed of execution. DroneShield confirmed that all items are readily available from existing inventories, eliminating production lead times. Delivery is scheduled for the first quarter of 2026, with payment following in the subsequent quarter. The company also noted that no additional material conditions must be satisfied, solidifying the certainty of the revenue.
This latest transaction further cements a highly productive partnership. The reseller, identified as a wholly-owned subsidiary of a multi-billion dollar, global, publicly listed corporation, has now placed 39 contracts with DroneShield over the past seven years. Prior to this announcement, those previous orders had totalled more than $17.8 million, meaning the current package has already surpassed the cumulative value of nearly four decades’ worth of previous deals from the same channel.
The announcement underscores the sustained demand for counter-uncrewed aerial systems (C-UAS) as militaries worldwide accelerate efforts to protect personnel from the growing threat of small drones on the modern battlefield. DroneShield’s ability to fulfil the order from existing stock highlights the company’s strategic inventory management and its readiness to meet urgent operational requirements.
