Daher extends logistics partnership with Safran further.

by Editorial Staff

Daher announced two new logistics contracts from Safran, with operations beginning April 2026. First: a warehouse management contract for Safran Nacelles in Hamburg, Germany, near Airbus’s A320neo assembly line. Daher will deploy 20 employees for on-site logistics, taking over from a previous operator after a two-month integration. Second: a 3,000 m² MRO and AOG platform for Safran Electronics & Defense in Tremblay-en-France, replacing a site 1.5 km away. The contract, awarded after a March 2025 tender, leverages proximity to Paris CDG for AOG emergencies. It covers 3,000 annual shipments, on-call service with a 3.5-hour maximum response, and Daher’s WMS. These new projects complement an expanded contract with Safran Helicopter Engines at Bordes, Tarnos, and Buchelay, involving over 150 Daher employees. Daher and Safran are also co-developing automation (AGVs, automated storage). With the MRO market projected to exceed $150 billion by 2035, Aymeric Daher called Safran a strategic partner, emphasizing their deepened role across France and Germany.
