AJW Group has expanded its presence in the widebody support sector through a new agreement with ASL Aviation Holdings. The contract covers airframe-only technical support for two A330ceo aircraft currently operated by ASL Airlines Ireland, reigniting a commercial relationship first established during AJW’s tenure supporting a dozen B737CL aircraft for the group.
Structured on a time and materials basis, the agreement provides ASL with the flexibility to scale support as needed while outsourcing critical engineering and supply chain tasks to AJW’s specialized team. The programme launched earlier this year, with AJW committed to an initial four-year term of responsive, reliability-focused service.
Scott Symington, Chief Commercial Officer at AJW Group, highlighted the strategic nature of the deal. “ASL is a globally respected operator, and this renewed partnership demonstrates the strength of the relationship we’ve built over the years. Supporting these A330ceo aircraft is a natural fit for our airframe-focused expertise. We aren’t just supplying parts; we are delivering stability and flexibility to ensure their operations run smoothly.”
ASL Aviation Holdings views the arrangement as a critical component of its fleet management strategy. Colin Grant, Chief Operating Officer, explained that the decision was driven by a need for specialized, adaptable support. “Bringing AJW on board allows us to focus on our core operations with the assurance that the airframe support is in expert hands. Their tailored approach to the A330ceo fleet gives us the confidence to maintain a reliable and efficient service for our customers.”
The contract serves as a testament to AJW Group’s sustained growth and its leadership in providing integrated supply chain solutions. By prioritizing airframe integrity and offering customized commercial terms, AJW is helping ensure that ASL’s widebody aircraft continue to perform at the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
