Fokker Services and Falcon Aviation sign nose-to-tail component support agreement.

Fokker Services Group (FSG) and Falcon Aviation Services have entered into a comprehensive nose-to-tail component support agreement covering the latter’s fleet of two DHC-8 Q300 aircraft. The deal, formalized at MRO Middle East in Dubai, sees Falcon’s Abu Dhabi-based turboprops enrolled in FSG’s Abacus component support program.

The flight-hour-based model guarantees availability and repair of a wide array of components, encompassing rotables, propellers, and brakes. Rather than applying a generic solution, the partners jointly developed a preventive maintenance schedule calibrated specifically to Falcon’s regional operating profile. This tailored approach is designed to mitigate unscheduled downtime and bolster dispatch reliability.

For Falcon Aviation, the agreement reinforces a broader strategy of embedding technical resilience within its fixed-wing division. Operating in a demanding desert climate, the company has prioritized partnerships that deliver both operational predictability and stringent safety oversight. By integrating FSG’s component expertise with its own engineering knowledge, Falcon aims to maintain rigorous cost control without compromising fleet availability.

FSG brings considerable history with Dash 8 Classic variants, having long provided pooled inventory and power-by-the-hour arrangements for regional operators. The company frames this latest agreement as an extension of its commitment to flexible, long-term partnerships. Rather than a transactional exchange of parts for hours, the collaboration emphasizes proactive fleet management.

“This is about more than component supply,” said Niels Elshof, Sales Manager at Fokker Services Group. “We are delivering reliability tailored to the specific stress factors of Falcon’s environment. Predictable costs and stable operations are the outcome of understanding the mission, not just the machine. It is an honor to contribute to Falcon’s operational success.”

Capt. Ramandeep Oberoi, CEO of Falcon Aviation Services, highlighted the alignment between the two organizations. “Safety and excellence are not slogans here—they are the baseline. This partnership strengthens our engineering backbone. With Fokker’s support, we are better positioned to deliver consistent, reliable service while maintaining the highest safety standards.”

The agreement reflects a continuing trend among regional operators to seek deep integration with MRO partners rather than episodic, transactional support. By aligning commercial models with technical cooperation, both companies signal a shared interest in long-term fleet health rather than short-term fixes.
