KBR wins $149M contract for AFLCMC project.

by Editorial Staff

KBR has been awarded a significant new contract valued at up to $149 million by the U.S. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) to accelerate and modernize armament systems development. The cost-plus-fixed-fee contract falls under the ADEDDIS program and will support the EB Armament Directorate at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida over a seven-year period.

The Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) agreement focuses on leveraging digital transformation to enhance the speed and effectiveness of delivering critical warfighter capabilities. Under the initial task orders, KBR will provide advanced modeling, simulation, and digital engineering solutions. The scope of work includes delivering advanced analytics, decision support systems, enterprise architecture engineering, and specialized software development aimed at streamlining the entire design, development, and production lifecycle.

“This award represents a pivotal step in advancing KBR’s digital transformation expertise across defense systems,” said Stuart Bradie, KBR’s President and CEO. “We remain committed to driving next-generation capabilities that will shape the future of armament development and ensure service members receive solutions rapidly and reliably.”

This contract builds upon KBR’s established presence in the Eglin Air Force Base community, where the company has operated for over a decade. Previous local work includes test data analysis and executing programs for the Test Resource Management Center (TRMC), such as the Test & Training Enabling Architecture (TENA). These ongoing efforts create integrated, interoperable environments that complement the new digital transformation initiatives, ultimately propelling advanced systems development and strengthening overall mission readiness.

The central goal of the new contract is to transform legacy systems and accelerate operator readiness through cutting-edge digital tools. By applying these solutions, KBR will assist the Air Force in reducing development timelines and enhancing the operational capability of next-generation armament systems.
