Lufthansa Technik has announced an extended and expanded collaboration with Estonian carrier Marabu Airlines. The global leader in aircraft technical services will continue to provide comprehensive component support for Marabu’s growing Airbus A320neo fleet under a renewed Total Component Support (TCS) agreement. .This partnership, established when Marabu launched operations in 2023, is built on the proven TCS model. It grants the airline streamlined access to Lufthansa Technik’s worldwide network of certified spare parts, expert repair services, and coordinated logistics. The agreement is designed to maximize aircraft availability and ensure rapid turnaround times for nearly all replaceable components, providing a reliable technical foundation for the airline’s schedule.
The scope of the cooperation extends beyond the TCS framework. Lufthansa Technik already supplies Marabu with consumables and expandable materials, and provides essential aircraft engineering and certification support, creating a holistic technical partnership.
Laszlo Molnar, Technical Director at Marabu Airlines, emphasized the strategic value of the alliance: “This ongoing partnership with Lufthansa Technik is a cornerstone of our growth strategy. As we expand our fleet, having a robust and trusted technical partner is crucial to upholding the exceptional operational reliability that defines our service to passengers and partners.”
Tanja Pustolla, Corporate Sales Executive for Europe, Middle East and Africa at Lufthansa Technik, welcomed the deepened relationship. “We are delighted that Marabu has chosen not just to extend but to broaden our collaboration. As a German company, we take particular pride in supporting an airline that connects several airports in our home market,” she said. “We have fostered a highly effective partnership and consider it a privilege to contribute to Marabu’s continued success story.”
The renewed contract underscores Marabu’s confidence in Lufthansa Technik’s services and aligns with the airline’s strategic fleet expansion plans, ensuring its technical operations are supported by industry-leading expertise and global resources.
